Fast-rising Nigerian artist Logos Olori has revealed that he continues to receive royalties for his role in writing Davido's hit song Unavailable. In a recent interview with Hiptv, Olori shared insights into his relationship with Davido and confirmed that he was the original writer of the popular track.
Olori acknowledged that while he penned the initial version of Unavailable, both Peruzzi and Davido made adjustments to fit their unique styles. "The tweaking was when it came to the verse. Peruzzi came in and wrote a bad vibe for the verse. You know, I came in with my own vibes and I was telling my story, but David wanted his own story," Olori explained. Despite these changes, he emphasized that the core idea of the song remained intact.
When asked about the royalties from the song, Olori confirmed that he is still being compensated. "Of course, I still get royalties. You know everything about Davido is professional," he added, highlighting the business-minded approach Davido brings to his music collaborations.
