Nigerian singer Jaywon has publicly forgiven his colleague Burna Boy for what he previously described as disrespectful behavior.

The two artists had a falling out on social media after Burna Boy claimed that no one in the music industry paved the way for his success, a statement that Jaywon had criticized.

In a recent interview with Ctdamongblacks, Jaywon explained that he has let go of the grudge against Burna Boy, acknowledging the significant impact Burna has had on the Nigerian music industry despite his "stubborn" nature.

"Burna Boy has done so much for this industry without even knowing that he has done it. I know that Burna is not... You know when a child tries and you overlook his misbehavior because he has tried and worked. Burna Boy is that stubborn child, he misbehaves, but I forgave him," Jaywon said.

However, Jaywon took a different stance when addressing rapper Odumodublvck, who recently made similar claims that no one paved the way for him in the industry.

Jaywon criticized Odumodublvck for making such bold statements without having achieved enough to justify them. He expressed disappointment after hearing a diss track directed at him by Odumodublvck, remarking that the track did not live up to his expectations.

Jaywon revealed that his latest song, originally titled Letter To Burna Boy, was inspired by Burna Boy, but he decided to change the title to Time following Odumodublvck's comments.
