Filmmaker and media entrepreneur Samuel Olatunji, popularly known as Bigsam, recently shared a personal anecdote about his journey with Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Bigsam, who is the CEO of Bigsam Media and served as Toyin Abraham's publicist, opened up about the lengths he went to support the actress in her early career, including an unusual but thoughtful request to shave her armpits.

In the interview, Bigsam reflected on his role in Toyin's career, emphasizing the deep connection and responsibility that comes with managing an artist. He explained, "If you don’t manage an artiste to the point where they feel that you are sleeping with the person, you are doing a ritual with the person, you are not yet fulfilled. Because you are their father, mother, and their pastor."
He recounted a specific incident when they needed to meet someone important, and he noticed that Toyin's armpits needed shaving. Concerned about her appearance, Bigsam took it upon himself to buy shaving sticks and asked her to shave her armpits, ensuring that she looked her best.
"So people should credit Toyin because she was committed to having a better life. She was committed to changes, so it was easier for us to succeed with her," Bigsam noted.

He recalled how he helped her purchase a house in Ibadan and how she eventually reached a point where she could afford luxury vehicles like a G-Wagon. He expressed pride in her success, highlighting the hard work and dedication that brought her to where she is today.
