Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has opened up about the profound influence Grammy-winning artist Wizkid has had on his music career. In a heartfelt revelation, Asake shared that Wizkid has been one of his key inspirations as a young artist striving in Lagos.
This admiration has now come full circle with their much-anticipated collaboration on Asake's newly released third studio album, Lungu Boy. The track, titled "MMS" (Mr Money Sound), is a testament to Asake's musical journey and his eagerness to finally work with Wizkid.
Asake expressed his excitement for the collaboration, stating, "It’s no secret that Wizkid is one of my music inspirations. As a young striving artiste in Lagos, I’ve been waiting for that right song so when the opportunity came it was a no-brainer."
