Popular skit maker Sabinus has spoken out following the abduction of his father in Rivers State. During the kidnapping on Wednesday, a security operative was reportedly killed by the abductors.
In his reaction to the incident, Sabinus revealed that a ransom was paid to secure his father's release. While he did not disclose the amount demanded, he expressed gratitude for his father's safe return.
Posting on his Instagram page, Sabinus shared his thoughts on the situation: "Kidnappers who kidnapped my father could still watch my content and laugh; life is like that. But we thank God for providing it; otherwise, I would have been so sorry. Thank you, Lord."
His message highlighted the irony of the situation and underscored his relief and thankfulness for his father's safety, despite the harrowing circumstances.
