YBNL frontman Olamide, also known as Badoo, has joined the legendary Fela Kuti as the only Nigerian artists to achieve a significant Billboard Charts record with the release of his album Ikigai.
Following the global acceptance and success of Ikigai, Olamide has continued to break and reset records in the Nigerian music industry. One such achievement is his recent debut at number 13 on the Billboard World Albums chart. This marks Olamide’s seventh project to appear on the chart, placing him alongside Afrobeat icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who holds nine entries.
Fans eagerly anticipated the return of the multiple award-winning rapper, recently named in Billboard's 2023 International Power Players List. Olamide has not disappointed, with Ikigai receiving widespread acclaim.
