Crypto billionaire businessman Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, has been arrested by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja. The arrest follows petitions filed by Nigerian online critic Vincent Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan.
According to sources, BLord’s arrest was precipitated by his criticism of VeryDarkMan, in which he blamed VeryDarkMan's father for his frequent social media rants. BLord further accused VeryDarkMan of being an online nuisance due to his financial struggles and expressed a hope that VeryDarkMan’s followers would achieve success for the sake of their children.
In response, VeryDarkMan took credit for BLord’s arrest, stating that he had urged the billionaire to improve his services after receiving numerous complaints from people who claimed to have lost money on BLord’s platform.
VeryDarkMan captioned his video, “BLORD HAS BEEN DETAINED BY FCID IN ABUJA….lets see his influence now✌️who get influence no dey shout @npf_nccc I have more people to bring ooooo.”
