Villa has been given the go-ahead nod to pursue Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho as injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar allays concerns the Premier League side had over the striker’s fitness.
According to a recent report from PUNCH Sports Extra, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and sports scientist, told Villa News that Iheanacho’s injury history should not raise any red flags for potential suitors, despite his limited playing time recently.
This clearance has opened the way for Aston Villa to proceed.
