Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has responded angrily to comments made by social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) regarding billionaire businessman Obi Cubana. VDM had recently criticized Obi Cubana for spending lavishly on non-essential items while allegedly remaining silent on important issues affecting the youth.
Obi Cubana had earlier urged blogs to stop posting content showing youths disrespecting elders, which led to VDM's scathing remarks. VeryDarkMan accused the billionaire of not addressing significant matters and instead focusing on his wealth.
Countering VDM's assertions, Portable took to Instagram Live to slam the critic for insulting Obi Cubana. He expressed his gratitude towards the billionaire, revealing that he has benefited immensely from Obi Cubana’s support, including an ambassadorial deal for Odogwu Bitters worth N50 million.
Portable emphasized the positive impact Obi Cubana has had on his life, questioning why VDM’s father did not work hard to achieve similar success. “It was Odogwu Bitters that turned me to billionaire. Obi Cubana gave me N50 million, gave me drinks to advertise and also 2 million monthly. After Obi Cubana endorsed me, I have received Trillion ambassadorships. Wetin make your papa no hustle,” he stated.
