Liverpool set to make a £50.7m bid for Lookman.

 

Liverpool are reportedly set to make a substantial offer of £50.7 million for Ademola Lookman, the talented forward currently shining at Atalanta.

The Reds are eager to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season, and Lookman has emerged as a top target for Jurgen Klopp's side, PUNCH SPORTS EXTRA reports.

Lookman, who is 26 years old, has experienced a resurgence in form since joining Atalanta and working under the tutelage of manager Gian Piero Gasperini. 

After struggling to find consistency at previous clubs such as Everton, Fulham, RB Leipzig, and Leicester City, Lookman has flourished in Italy and caught the eye of Liverpool's scouting team.

The Merseyside club sees Lookman as a player who can add depth and quality to their attacking lineup, providing competition for the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Diogo Jota. 

With his pace, skill, and eye for goal,  the Reds are hopeful that a deal can be reached swiftly, with negotiations progressing positively as they look to secure the talented forward's signature ahead of the new season.
