Kcee and E-Money Pledge to Support Late Actor Junior Pope’s Children

In a heartfelt gesture, singer Kcee has pledged that he and his brother, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, will take responsibility for the children of the late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope.

This promise was made during the actor’s funeral, held in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State, on Friday.

Junior Pope, a beloved figure in the Nollywood industry, tragically passed away, leaving behind his family. At the funeral, Kcee expressed their commitment to ensuring the well-being and future of the actor's children until they are old enough to care for themselves.

Kcee's moving words at the funeral reflected the deep bond and respect he and E-Money had for Junior Pope. He said, “On behalf of my brother, E-Money and our friends, I want to say sorry to the family. Junior Pope is a blessing to this generation. He is somebody that we will never forget in this generation.

“My brother is the godfather of his first son. The friendship we have with Junior Pope has been for ages. When the unfortunate incident happened, my brother said to me that we were going to take up responsibility for his three sons till they were grown.

“But we can’t do that without the support of the family. So we are saying it openly to the family, we are ready to take care of the three kids to any level they want till they are grown to cater for themselves. We will take care of their education, feeding, clothing, and holidays. We are not doing it to show off but to honour our friend’s dying wish for a better life for his children. And we took it upon ourselves that we are going to support this family to train these children.”
