Burna Boy Ventures into Film Industry as Executive Producer for '3 Cold Dishes'

Grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is making waves beyond the music industry as he ventures into the world of film. The 'African Giant' crooner is set to make his debut as an executive producer for the highly anticipated movie '3 Cold Dishes.'

Burna Boy will be producing the film through Spaceship Films, a company he co-founded with his mother, Bose Ogulu. This marks a significant expansion of his creative empire, showcasing his talents and interests beyond the recording studio.

'3 Cold Dishes' is a collaborative production, bringing together the efforts of Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network. Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and penned by Tomi Adesina, the movie unfolds a compelling narrative set across Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire.

“This film is a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, and it took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage,” Asurf Oluseyi shared in an interview with Variety, highlighting the dedication and effort behind the project.

The film features a star-studded cast, including renowned actors such as Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, and Brutus Richards. It also boasts the talents of actors from Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, promising a rich and diverse cinematic experience.

As Burna Boy steps into this new role, fans and industry watchers are eagerly anticipating the impact of his unique creative vision on the film.
