In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Nigerian singer Brymo dropped some bombshells about the music industry, leaving many stunned.

One of the most striking statements was Brymo's bold claim that there is no living or dead Nigerian artist whose music people can listen to for two hours straight, except his own. This assertion, though bold, speaks to Brymo's confidence in his musical prowess.

Brymo didn't stop there; he also took aim at several other Nigerian artists, including 2Face, Davido, Burnaboy, Simi, and Adekunle Gold. He claimed that these artists had all attacked him in some way, with 2Face and Adekunle Gold being specifically targeted.

Regarding his issues with Simi, Brymo accused Adekunle Gold of sorcery, claiming that the latter bought his wife a car after rumors surfaced that Adekunle Gold had wanted to sleep with Simi before featuring her on a song.

The interview shed light on Brymo's past beefs with other artists, including Burnaboy, with whom he had a public spat that eventually simmered down.

Adekunle Gold also found himself in the spotlight after SamKlef claimed credit for making artists like Simi successful, prompting a sarcastic response from Adekunle Gold.

Sharing the video on his X handle, Chude said:

"Why?

"That’s what I wanted to understand.

"Why is an artiste as supremely talented as Brymo Olawale always involved in the most dramatic - some would say, petty - controversies, battles and attacks?

"What I discover is a man who believes he is fighting for his very life, a man who learnt courage and standing alone from his mother, and a man who has a very clear sense of where all of this is going.

"He tells me exclusively about his mother being abused  and immediately reporting her abuser, cheating on his wife and asking for forgiveness, about why he responded the way he did.

"All of it, for him, is about freedom.

"You can disagree with his methods, you may be very uncomfortable with the anger; but his truths are absolutely worth hearing."

Chude completed the post by promising to release the full video tomorrow by 5pm on YouTube.
