Again, Simi and Falz Set to Collaborate on New Music, Dispel Dating Rumors [Video]

Nigerian singer Simi has announced an upcoming collaboration with singer Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz. The duo, known for their previous collaborations and rumored romantic link, are set to release a new single together.

Simi addressed the dating rumors between her and Falz during an interview on Angela Yee’s ‘Way Up’ show. She dismissed the speculations, emphasizing the deep musical connection they share, which she described as “intense chemistry.”

The collaboration comes after their successful joint EP titled “Chemistry,” released in 2016, which further fueled the dating rumors due to their undeniable chemistry on the tracks.

Speaking about the upcoming single, Simi expressed her excitement, revealing that the song has a comedic nature that is sure to entertain listeners. She also shared her history with Falz, highlighting their previous musical collaborations and the positive reception from fans.

Simi, who is married to singer Adekunle Gold since January 9, 2019, explained, “Before I got married, we did an EP and everything. People thought we were dating. We had a couple of songs together and people loved them. They were like, ‘You have a good chemistry.’ So we decided to do a joint EP and we made an EP called ‘Chemistry.’ People really loved it.”

She added, “So we want to do something again for the culture. It’s kind of a funny song. I’m really excited and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Fans of both artists are eagerly anticipating this new collaboration, which is expected to showcase their unique musical styles and undeniable chemistry once again.
