The situation at Lead British International School, Abuja escalated on Tuesday morning when a parent intervened and slapped a female student who was bullying her classmate.
Nollywood Times earlier shared two videos showing the victim, identified as Namtira Bwala, who was repeatedly slapped severally by a fellow student, Maryam Hassan.
The video sparked anger among Nigerians, prompting calls for the school authorities to look into the issue.
On Tuesday, a group of parents went to the school seeking to address and resolve the incident. Maryam Hassan was present with her parents, and there was a tense moment when one of the parents of the bullied student reprimanded her for her actions.
“She is proud of what she did. You are proud of what you did! You are proud right? Someone’s child; innocent child, you beat her, did you give birth to her? I am asking you, did you give birth to her?”
The student attempted to leave to avoid a confrontation, but the angry parent pushed her; “I’m asking you: did you give birth to her?”
Maryam apologized, but the parent responded with a slap before another elderly person intervened to diffuse the situation.

This is the face of the bully, she was brought to the school just now by her parent, the lady who slapped her is the Aunt to the bullied girl, the school has also been shut down for three days and minister of women affairs is there to address the issue,
