Controversial figure Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, entered a guilty plea on Friday to charges of naira abuse brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The EFCC had filed six counts of money laundering and naira abuse against Bobrisky on Thursday. However, before the charges were read, the EFCC's prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, requested that counts five and six, which pertained to money laundering, be struck out.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro granted this request, and Bobrisky was arraigned on counts one to four.

Bobrisky arrived at the Federal High Court in Lagos around 11:50 am for the arraignment, following his detention by the EFCC since Wednesday night.
