Opeyemi Aiyeola, a popular Nollywood actress, has announced that she had to undergo emergency surgery recently. 

She shared this news via her Instagram account on Sunday, through a series posts - Aiyeola explained that her recent vacation led to an unexpected surgery, but she reassured her fans that the operation was successful.

According to the report, she spent the remainder of her vacation recovering.

In her words:

"Got every reason to be grateful to my Jehovah for his mercy and love ❤️. My 9ja trip that’s usually a working holiday ended up with me having an unplanned + emergency successful surgery, spending my holiday recuperating . To my handsome , beautiful n correct medical team , family n friends can’t appreciate you all enough for ur support, care and love ❤️
