Davido Claims Nigerian Music Industry Has Been Turbulent Since His Arrival

Renowned singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has asserted that since his entry into the Nigerian music scene, it has never been devoid of peace.

Expressing his fondness for the industry's vibrant nature, Davido remarked that he embraces the dynamism and liveliness that define the Nigerian music scene.

On his X handle on Sunday, the singer wrote: “Since I came in the game dem never get peace .. I love it ! Make I find somewhere with beach go relax.”

The leader of DMW has previously claimed that certain members of the music industry are conspiring against him.

“Me vs the industry! Love it!,” he wrote via X in 2022.

Davido made his debut in the Nigerian music scene with hits like 'Back When' and 'Dami Duro' from his first album, 'Omo Baba Olowo' (2012).

Since then, he has become one of the top three leaders of the new wave of Afrobeats, alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.

In various interviews, Davido has openly discussed his less-than-friendly relationship with both Wizkid and Burna Boy.
