His actions drew widespread criticism on social media, with many questioning his conduct as a leader of the Free Nation Church.

However, in a move to rectify his behavior, Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page to apologize for his actions. He shared the apology video via Instagram which he captioned, "My Apologies Over The COS Matter.."

In the video statement, Daddy Freeze praised Nigerians in the diaspora, clarifying that he has no intention of repatriating them. He denied having the power to make such decisions and expressed his trust in Nigerians abroad to represent the nation well. He explained that his recent anger stemmed from feeling falsely accused by someone named Mary.

Daddy Freeze emphasized that while he welcomes criticism, he finds false accusations unacceptable. He commended the efforts of the Nigerian government, acknowledging the challenges the country faces and the time it will take to address them.

He reiterated his trust in Nigerians abroad to make the country proud and emphasized that his anger was directed towards an individual and not the entire nation.
