Singer Burna Boy Opens Up On Stance Regarding Giveaways [Video]

Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, recently opened up about his stance on online giveaways during an Instagram live session with fans.

Burna Boy, who was en route to Nigeria from Paris in his private jet with his family and crew, stated that he views participating in online giveaways as a form of seeking attention.

Unlike some of his peers like Davido and Don Jazzy, who frequently engage in online giveaways, Burna Boy expressed his reluctance to participate in such activities.

He explained that he does not see the value in engaging with people on Instagram and social media for giveaways, as he believes that the individuals who truly deserve assistance are not active online and may not even be familiar with platforms like Instagram.

In his words; “I don’t like all these Instagram giveaways, I do giveaway to places that really matters, to people that really need it and most of them aren’t on the internet.”

Burna Boy's remarks shed light on his perspective regarding the use of social media for philanthropic gestures, highlighting a difference in approach compared to other prominent figures in the entertainment industry.
