Some exciting news is in the air as Funke Akindele, Femi Branch, and Toyin Abraham are set to star in the new Netflix Yoruba historical epic, House of Ga'a.
Directed by Bolanle Austen Peters, the movie transports us back to the 18th century Oyo Empire with a stellar cast lineup that includes the Box Office Queen Funke Akindele.
This sounds like an exciting project! With such a talented cast and a director like Bolanle Austen Peters, House of Ga'a is sure to be a hit.
It's great to see Nigerian actors and filmmakers getting the opportunity to showcase their talents on a global platform like Netflix.
I can't wait to see the rich history and culture of the Yoruba people brought to life on screen. Yoruba 'fiim' ti take over indeed!
"I am eagerly anticipating seeing these talented actors in action! Yoruba films are definitely taking over" added @YorubaNationCH

Point of correction, Nigerian film, Yoruba story line. No be everything be tribalism.
Being Yoruba is not the same as being Nigerian.
Not all Nigerians are Yoruba. On the other hand, you can be Yoruba and not Nigerian.

This type of movie is overdue. Yoruba is the largest ethnic group in Africa and Diaspora, spoken in Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Gambia, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda, Cuba, USA , etc.

Yoruba is actually a Global culture.
Not all ethnic groups of the world have the privilege of being custodians of a culture that can referred to as such.
