The recent 9th Agro-food and Plastprintpack Exhibition held in Lagos, Nigeria, showcased an unexpected display of athleticism from 87-year-old former President General Olusegun Obasanjo. The exhibition, organized by Fairtrade Messe, attracted over 100 world-class exhibitors and 17 world leaders.

During the event, Obasanjo surprised the crowd with his agility. After delivering a speech that garnered applause, he astounded attendees by leaping off the stage without using the stairs, catching his bodyguards off guard as they scrambled to prevent a fall.

However, Obasanjo landed gracefully, earning a standing ovation and cheers from the audience, including diplomats and international visitors from 17 countries.

Nollywood Times recalls that this is not the first time Obasanjo has showcased such athleticism. He previously jumped off a stage at a Christmas show in 2022.

The exhibition, aimed at driving growth in the agrofood, plastics, printing, and packaging sectors, concluded on a high note with Obasanjo's remarkable feat.
