The premiere, which took place on March 24, stirred up a storm of reactions online after Bobrisky was announced as the winner, with celebrities like Dayo Amusa criticizing the judges' decision.

However, in a recent interview with Arise News, Eniola Ajao revealed that the award was a strategic move to promote her upcoming movie, scheduled for release in cinemas on Friday, March 29. She explained that the decision was aimed at generating buzz and attracting attention to the premiere.

Eniola emphasized that Bobrisky's controversial nature played a significant role in the decision, as his presence and the subsequent buzz helped to create a buzz around the event and the movie.

In her words, “It was all jokes. We just want to have fun. We want people to talk about the movie. My team and I decided that it needed to be in the faces of people.”

“So we decided to give the Best Dressed Female award to Bobrisky since he has always been a very controversial person. At the end of the day, people started talking about it but some people are not happy.”

“They started calling out Femi Adebayo who presented the award. He just presented it, it wasn’t his idea, he was not part of the judges. Nigerians shouldn’t slam him, please”.
