Yesterday, as reported by Nollywood Times, Singer Joeboy announced his departure from Mr Eazi's EMPAWA via his official X handle. He said he entered into a groundbreaking dual deal with the global music powerhouse, Warner Music—home to luminaries like Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Burna Boy, and Ckay.

Joeboy said that throughout his half-decade tenure at EMPAWA, he accomplished notable milestones, including the release of two EPs ("Love & Light" and "Body, Soul & Spirit"), two albums ("Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic" and "Body & Soul"), and numerous chart-topping singles and collaborations. He also amass a whooping 2 billion cumulative streams across various digital platforms.

However, he did not say the real reason why he departed but through his Instagram and X posts we can get the hint as the reason why he left Mr Eazi's record label.

Joeboy posted on his Instagram page: "I have found peace. 🤍"

He also did the same on his X handles. He wrote:

We can deduce from the posts that he seem to be under some kind of trouble or was having issues with Mr Eazi. Because earlier January this year, he said this: "
Eye Wey don see 99 no fit fear 100 .🤍"

Hence, there would have been a fallout with the Otedola's in-law that has been kept out of the news. Joeboy would have gone through a lot.
