During the ongoing AFCON, Nigeria secured a victory against Angola yesterday, earning a spot in the semifinals.

However, what caught the attention and sparked discussions among Nigerians was a video featuring Ghanaian media personality Kwado Sheldon.

In the amusing yet surprising viral clip, Kwado urged the rest of Africa not to let Nigeria clinch the coveted AFCON trophy. The match concluded with a 1-0 victory for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, with Ademola Lookman scoring the sole goal.

Following the match, the Nigerian team, displaying a formidable and tournament-worthy performance, prompted a reaction from Ghanaian media personality Kwado Sheldon. It's worth noting that Ghana had been eliminated in the group stage, making a Nigerian victory particularly significant and impactful for Ghanaians, according to Sheldon.

He humorously mentioned that he's crossing his fingers for the Super Eagles to face a setback, claiming that if they triumph in the AFCON, the internet might struggle to handle the celebratory uproar from Africans, particularly Ghanaians.

He playfully poked fun at Nigerians for their constant rivalry with Ghanaians over who makes the best Jollof, while giving credit where it's due by acknowledging Nigeria's musical prowess in Afrobeats. He wrapped up by jokingly declaring that if Nigeria secures the AFCON victory, he might have to take a social media hiatus because the teasing from disappointed Ghanaians would be too much to handle.
