In a recent video, controversial Nigerian singer Portable lashed out at actress Laide Bakare after she referred to him as a "dirty boy" in an interview. The interview, conducted by actress Biola Bayo, saw Laide Bakare, now Osun State's senior special assistant on entertainment, making the comment.
Portable's reaction came after Laide Bakare mentioned him in an interview, stating that if her man cheats on her, she would cheat on him in return. This prompted Portable to warn Laide Bakare not to give advice to his wife, Ashabi Simple, who is also an actress.
In response, Portable criticized Laide Bakare for not having a husband and accused her of having relationships with multiple men. He claimed that despite calling him a dirty boy, Laide Bakare had once asked for his phone number and attention via direct messages (DMs). Portable also alleged that Laide Bakare had invited him to her birthday party but he refused because he wasn't paid to attend.
Furthermore, Portable boasted that he could afford to buy Laide Bakare and even marry her. He ended his rant by questioning the whereabouts of Laide Bakare's husband.
