Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe recently took to Instagram to express her deep concern over the escalating hardships faced by Nigerians. In a video she shared on her verified account, Mercy showed scenes of people outside a house desperately begging for assistance, highlighting the severe hunger and suffering gripping the nation.

Mercy lamented the dire situation, noting that many are starving, dying, and losing their sanity due to the unbearable conditions. She passionately appealed to the government to urgently address the crisis, emphasizing the urgent need for relief.

In a bold move, Mercy tagged Seyi Tinubu, son of the president, urging him to implore his father to intervene and help alleviate the suffering of the Nigerian people. A video accompanying her post showed crowds of people gathered at a house, struggling to receive food items being distributed to them.

She captioned the post thus: “People are hungry! People are dying! People are going out of their minds! The present situation of the country is TERRIBLE!

The government should please, please we are begging, they should do something about this economic hardship!
