The minister has called on well-meaning Nigerians to show solidarity and offer their support to the veteran actor during his recovery.

“We have watched him entertain us, and we see him as a national treasure. So the best we can do is to ensure that we support him in getting the best treatment.
“We will also reach out to other well meaning Nigerians to support him through prayers and other means to ensure that he survives this ailment.
“God will heal him. We will do all we can to support him. We solicit the collective prayers of Nigerians.”
