Celebrity designer Toyin Lawani has voiced regret over her involvement in the controversial reality show, Real Housewives of Lagos.
In a candid statement, she expressed shock and described her participation in the show as a "joke."
On her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Lawani wrote: “[I] Can’t believe I was part of a joke #Rholagos #kof #kingofallQueens.”
The Real Housewives of Lagos reality show faced controversy in its second season, with some stars accusing Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo of "bullying." In response, Iyabo Ojo defended herself, stating that the show was scripted.
She claimed that she intentionally played the role of the "villain" and emphasized that her co-stars were portraying the scripted events as if they were happening in real life.
