One of the stolen pendants belonging to singer Mayorkun, taken during an incident in Calabar, the capital of Cross River State, has been recovered.

After his performance, Mayorkun took to social media to report the theft of his jewelry, valued at millions of naira, and expressed his frustration, vowing not to return to the state.
Subsequently, on Wednesday, one of the stolen pieces was found, and Mayorkun promised a N5 million reward for the return of the second pendant.

Providing an update on Thursday evening, singer Iyanya announced that the second jewelry had been returned.
Sharing the clip of how it was recovered, Iyanya wrote, “Thank you Calabar people for doing what’s right. @iammayorkun second pendant has been found.
“This morning we got a call that it was returned to @HitFMCalabar and was received by Mr Duke Emmanuel who later transferred the pendant to Hon. Effiong Ekpenyong MNIPR, FCAI, Special Adviser Events Management, Governor’s Office, Calabar. We remain a peaceful and hospitable state.”
