Governor Obeseki send wishes to Rema over health issues

Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State, has joined fans and colleagues in extending well wishes to Rema for a swift recovery.

Rema, the 'Calm Down' crooner, had announced that he would not be performing in Lagos, Abuja, and Benin this December due to health reasons.

Governor Obaseki expressed his support for Rema via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday. He conveyed that the people of Edo are proud of Rema and stand behind him in every step of his journey.

Governor Obaseki acknowledged Rema's extraordinary achievements, including selling out London's O2 Arena and amassing 1.6 billion streams on Spotify in the current year. He commended Rema's exceptional talent and highlighted the artist's success as an inspiration for young creatives.
