BREAKING: Veteran actor of 'Village Headmaster' series Dejumo Lewis dies at 80

Nollywood actor Dejumo Lewis has passed away at the age of 80. The veteran actor, known for his roles in Yoruba movies, died according to a confirmation by his colleague, Saidi Balogun, on his Instagram page.

“Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace,” Balogun posted on the social media platform.

Dejumo Lewis was renowned for his roles in movies such as "A Place in the Stars," 'Crossroads,' 'Power of 1,' and, notably, for portraying the Kabiyesi character in 'The Village Headmaster.'

While the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed, numerous actors have expressed their grief on social media platforms.
