In a recent interview on the Bianca Show, South African singer Tyla Laura Seethal, popularly known as Tyla, placed Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Wizkid on a pedestal alongside legendary figures like Michael Jackson, Drake, and Rihanna, hailing them as her top five greatest musicians of all time.

The 'Water' crooner explained her choice, citing Wizkid's enduring presence and profound impact on the African music scene as the basis for including him in the esteemed lineup. Tyla's recognition adds to the global acknowledgment of Wizkid's influence and contribution to the music industry.

Tyla said, “My top five musical artists of all-time, obviously, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Drake… It is always difficult to find the last one. There’s so many but I will say Wizkid. He has been around so long and has done so much for the culture and the genre[African music], so I definitely put him there.”
