In a candid revelation, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh shared that her former partner is preparing to marry one of her close friends. The thespian expressed her support for their union, believing that her ex deserves the happiness that comes with marriage. She humorously admitted that during their relationship, she put him through quite a rollercoaster, almost driving him to the brink of insanity.
Despite the complexities of their past, Dikeh confessed that she still holds affection for both her ex and her friend who are set to tie the knot. She even mentioned her commitment to attend their wedding but disclosed her need for a personal assistant, as she found it challenging to select the perfect outfit for the occasion.
Dikeh emphasized that not attending the wedding could potentially paint her as a bitter ex, highlighting the complexities of navigating such a situation.
On Friday night, Dikeh wrote via her Instagram page: “I honestly need a PA, My ex is getting married to my friend tomorrow.
“I totally forgot; I don’t have any outfit, I love them both.
“He honestly deserves this happiness because I almost made that man run mad.
“If I don’t make this wedding, I’ll be seen as a bitter ex, plus I was paid to be there.
“I need an outfit.”
Our source recalls that Tonto Dikeh got married to businessman Olakunle Churchill in 2015, and the union was blessed with a son.
Their marriage, however, hit the rocks in 2017, following a series of heated quarrels and “irreconcilable” differences.
