Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has revealed that she is preparing for surgery to have her womb removed. The announcement came shortly after news of the death of Nigerian rapper Oladips circulated on social media.

Etinosa shared her decision, stating that "to stop death, one must put an end to reproduction."

On her X (formerly Twitter) handle, she wrote: “The primary cause of death is life itself. So to stop death, one must put an end to reproduction. What is never born will never die. Even I myself am not ready for this deep conversation. It’s deeper than I can comprehend.”

In response to a fan who agreed with her perspective, Etinosa affirmed her decision to undergo the surgery, emphasizing that she doesn't want any child of hers to enter the world only to wait for death.

She wrote: “God bless you. Reason I’m doing a surgery soon to take off my womb. No child of mine is coming to this world to wait for death.”
