Singer Hotkid found himself entangled in a legal predicament after being arrested, with the incident stemming from allegations that a show promoter, Brave T.Tey, used his name to carry out fraudulent activities.
The singer took to his Instagram story to disclose the unfortunate situation, explaining that he became the subject of arrest due to the alleged actions of the show promoter.
The ‘Ozana’ crooner wrote: “Accumulatively collected over 10 million naira from different people! They came to arrest me for money I had no idea about because of this @brave_t.tey. Oloshi oloriburuku! Naso people dey enter wahala wey no be their own oo.”
Sharing a picture of the show promoter in another post, Hotkid wrote: “Wanted! He is a thief! I’m giving you 24 hours to pay up the lady and everyone else you collected money from using my name, [or] else you’d hate yourself.”
