Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, Emoseh Khamofu, popularly known as Bloody Civilian, has asserted that her presence in the music industry is driven by a desire to compete with her male counterparts.
In a recent interview with Album Talks, the artist emphasized that she does not view her female colleagues as threats. Instead, Bloody Civilian believes it's time for female artists to ascend to the top ranks of the Nigerian music industry, replacing their male counterparts.
The 'Blood On The Dance Flood' crooner is determined to contribute to breaking gender barriers in the music scene.

She said, “I don’t see other female artists as threats. Actually, I’m here to occupy the spaces of the multiple male artists that you guys have put out this year. There are too many. It’s time to replace them with more women.”
