Reality show star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, has opened up about a past attempt to bleach her skin.

She disclosed that she purchased a bleaching cream, but fortunately, it proved ineffective. Doyin shared this revelation in a video message posted on her Instagram story, expressing her initial disappointment but now feeling grateful that the attempt was unsuccessful.

She emphasized that if the bleaching cream had worked, she would have regretted it, highlighting a shift in her perspective over time.

She said, “There was a time I really wanted to bleach my skin. I wanted to be light-skinned so bad. I’m so grateful to God that that cream did not work. Because I would have regretted it.

“I need to shout out to that girl that sold me that cream because at that time I was angry but now thanks girl.”
