Humans never cease to amaze in what could be said to be a turnaround shock move, American hip-hop legend Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., widely recognized as Snoop Dogg, has made the decision to quit smoking.

The veteran rapper revealed that he chose to overcome the addiction "after much consideration and conversation" with his family.

Snoop Dogg shared this announcement through a brief statement on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday.

The statement reads: “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
