Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, widely known as Black Sherif, has hinted at taking a break from music to further his education.
The 21-year-old artist expressed his desire to pursue education in clothesmaking after releasing his sophomore album.
The ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ crooner wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, “[I] Need to get this album out and go back to school to learn how to make clothes.”
This move suggests a multi-faceted approach to Black Sherif's career, demonstrating his interest in both music and acquiring new skills. Fans will be anticipating the release of his upcoming album before any potential hiatus from the music scene.
Black Sherif rose to fame in 2021 with his hit song 'First Sermon,' released in May. The track's success led to the release of its sequel, 'Second Sermon,' in July. The popularity of these songs garnered attention and acclaim for the Ghanaian singer and rapper.
Notably, the 'Second Sermon' remix featured collaboration with Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy, further elevating Black Sherif's profile in the music industry.
