PDFgear is a free PDF editor well packed with professional-grade editing tools and an "AI co-pilot" that enhances your workflow efficiency.

PDF editing at a professional level can be quite costly. While tools like Adobe Acrobat are worth the investment for regular PDF creation and interaction, their expensive subscription prices may not be justifiable if you only need to edit or sign a few PDFs per year. Although free online tools are available for ad-hoc PDF needs, they often come with cumbersome interfaces and questionable security.

PDFgear aims to bridge the gap between these two options. It is a free PDF editor that can be used on Windows, Mac, and mobile devices. It offers all the features you would expect from a paid tool, and even includes advanced features that are not found in any other editor.

Making edits to text and objects is a simple process. Users can click on the element they wish to edit and make changes just like they would in a Microsoft Word document. Adding new text or images is as easy as dragging and dropping the desired element into the document. The same process applies to adding notes, shapes, and stamps to enhance the document.

Users now have the option to include their handwritten signature, draw it digitally, or even upload an image of their signature. In addition, you can use it to locate specific information within the document, such as asking "Where is the registration fee?" This feature proves to be a valuable time-saver, especially when you need to swiftly find information within lengthy documentation.

Is PDFgear the Right Choice for You?

PDFgear is a highly reliable tool suitable for both personal and professional use, and the fact that it is available for free is truly impressive. It is possible that in the future, some of the advanced features, including the AI co-pilot, may become paid features, as is often seen in similar products. However, at present, I consider PDFgear to be one of the top free PDF editors on the market.
