Lionel Messi, the forward for Inter Miami, has openly acknowledged that he is uncertain about the remaining duration of his playing career.
This admission comes following his remarkable achievement of receiving his eighth Ballon d'Or award on Monday. This recognition arrived several months after he secured the World Cup with Argentina, filling the only gap in his remarkable collection of titles.
At 36 years of age, Messi is presently bound by a contract with Inter Miami that extends until December 2025.
“I don’t know if I have a lot or a little left, but after the career I’ve had, the only thing I have left is to continue enjoying it.
“As long as I am physically well, I will continue competing, hopefully it will be a long time,” Messi said.
