Falz pays tribute to his parents as his mother, Funmi Falana, becomes a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)

Popular Nigerian musician and lawyer, Folarin Falana, known as Falz, took to his Instagram page to share pictures celebrating his mother, Funmi Falana, being named a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Funmi Falana is a practicing lawyer, women's activist, and the National Director of Women Empowerment and Legal Aid (WELA), a non-governmental organization that defends the rights of women and children.

In the pictures, Falz posed with his father and his mother, celebrating her achievement. Funmi Falana's career spans across multiple accomplishments, including obtaining degrees in physics and law, as well as a master's degree in law.

She is also a member of various legal associations, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), West African Bar Association, International Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

In the caption, Falz wrote: “What’s better than one Senior Advocate? Two”, which is a sample of a line in Jay-Z’s hit song “Family Feud”.
