Yahoo boys are the only people keeping the entire Nigeria afloat unlike politicians – Activist VeryDarkBlackMan [Video]

In a recent statement, activist VeryDarkBlackMan sparked reactions among internet users as he asserted that Yahoo boys are the only group sustaining Nigeria's economy.

This declaration was made during a recent interview conducted during his Instagram live session. VeryDarkBlackMan clarified that he does not condone fraud; however, he argued that Yahoo boys have had a more positive impact on the country than politicians.

He argued that Yahoo boys have contributed significantly to the country's economy, claiming that many plazas in areas like Lekki were constructed by these individuals. Furthermore, he contended that Yahoo boys have played a role in promoting online transactions, online businesses, cryptocurrencies, and more.

Contrasting this with politicians, VeryDarkBlackMan accused politicians of embezzling Nigeria's funds and investing them in foreign countries, thereby benefiting other nations and leaving Nigeria without hope.

As an example, VeryDarkBlackMan mentioned former EFCC chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa, who allegedly spent N1.9 billion in just ten days in Dubai. He suggested that there is little distinction between Yahoo boys and politicians.

Discussing the drawbacks of both Yahoo boys and politicians, VeryDarkBlackMan argued that some Yahoo boys are not prudent with their spending, which has contributed to inflation in the country. He also claimed that many politicians neglect the welfare of the citizens. He concluded that without the presence of Yahoo boys, the country's situation would have been even more dire.
