The trial of Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, on cybercrime charges has been adjourned by a Federal High Court in Lagos until November 13 and 30. The adjournment comes due to Naira Marley's absence from the court proceedings.

Naira Marley is facing charges related to cybercrime, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting the case. These charges were filed on May 14, 2019. He had been previously granted bail with a bond of N2 million and two sureties of the same amount.

The EFCC alleges that Naira Marley and his associates conspired to use various Access Bank ATM cards for fraudulent activities. The trial had already commenced and is ongoing.

It's important to note that Naira Marley had also been detained by the police in Lagos, along with his associate Sam Larry, in connection with the death of Nigerian artist Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad. Despite the court's order for Naira Marley's presence at the trial, he remained absent from court proceedings. The case has been adjourned for further proceedings on November 13 and 30.
