Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely known as Skales, has expressed concerns about receiving threats after speaking out against the actions of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Skales recently accused EFCC operatives of unjustly invading his home and wrongly labeling him as a fraudster.
In his initial account of the incident, Skales described how heavily armed EFCC officers entered his residence, subjected him to harassment, and falsely accused him in front of his family, including his six-month-old daughter. He also mentioned that the traumatic experience led to a panic attack due to underlying health issues, and his producer was injured during the confrontation.
Taking to his X account on Tuesday, Skales revealed that he has been facing threats to his life since publicly sharing his ordeal involving EFCC operatives.
The ‘Shake Body’ crooner wrote, “I was just threatened for speaking out now.”
