Singer Mayorkun opens up about his romantic relationship

Nigerian singer Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, has officially confirmed the end of his relationship with his British girlfriend, Cocainna.

The 'Cheche' singer revealed that he is currently single and emphasized that he and Cocainna decided to part ways because their relationship did not work out as they had hoped.

Nevertheless, he made it clear that he maintains a good relationship with the British model. Mayorkun made these revelations during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, which was hosted by reality star Tacha.

Host: “Are you in a relationship right now, Mayorkun?”

Mayorkun: “No.”

Host: “So what happened to you and Cocainna?”

Mayorkun: “Life happened. But we are still cool. We are very cool. It’s just that you meet somebody it works out, you meet somebody it doesn’t work out.”

The singer refuted assertions that he has an obsession with dating London girls, clarifying that it's due to the significant amount of time he spends in the city. He went on to say that there's nothing particularly unique about it, but London holds a special place in his heart.

It's worth noting that last year, Mayorkun and Cocainna stirred up speculation about their relationship after the UK dancer and influencer took the singer on a date in London. The two eventually confirmed that they were indeed in a relationship.
