Canadian rapper and singer Drake, known for his multiple Grammy awards, has revealed that he will be going on hiatus from music. The announcement came during his radio show on SiriusXM's "Table For One" program.
This decision to take a break, which is expected to last a year or possibly longer, comes shortly after the release of his latest album, 'For All The Dogs.' Drake cited health concerns as the primary reason for his sabbatical, explaining that he has been grappling with stomach issues for an extended period.
During this time off from music, the 36-year-old artist intends to focus on improving his health and well-being.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest.
“I need to focus on my health, first and foremost… Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.”
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer,” Drake said.
