BREAKING: Naira Marley apprehended by Police over Mohbad death.

Naira Marley, the well-known musician also known as Azeez Fashola, has been apprehended by Police Authorities for questioning and further investigation in relation to the death of his former artist, Mohabd. 

This news was confirmed by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command PRO, via his Twitter account. He tweeted, "Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been detained for interrogation and other investigative procedures... #justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad."

Naira Marley wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

Naira Marley has refuted claims of his involvement in Mohbad's death, emphasizing that despite their disagreement in 2022, he never wished any harm upon him.
