Mohbad: Zinoleesky’s house, cars bought under Marlian Records – ID Cabasa alleges

After the tragic loss of the Nigerian musician Mohbad, music producer and singer Olumide Ogunade, known professionally as ID Cabasa, has provided unprecedented insights into Marlian Record label, which is owned by Naira Marley.

Our source recalls that Mohbad passed away last Tuesday under suspicious circumstances, and social media was inundated with news of the singer's demise.

However, accusations have been leveled against his former record label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, suggesting their involvement in Mohbad's death. The internet saw the emergence of a series of documents and videos showing the duo subjecting the late singer to relentless bullying for leaving Marlian Records.

Responding to the controversies during an Instagram live session on Monday night, ID Cabasa expressed his dismay at the alleged mistreatment that Naira Marley inflicts upon his signees within the confines of his record label.

The music producer also alleged that the car and house purchased by Zinoleesky, one of Naira Marley's signees in recent years, were acquired under the label's name rather than in Zinoleesky's personal name.

“I started hearing a lot of things coming from that label, that even some of the things that were bought for Zinoleesky, the house, the cars were not bought in the boy’s name.

“That’s wickedness from the highest order.”

ID Cabasa has nurtured musical legends like 9ice and Olamide under his label.
